Alright, alright, lemme tell ya ’bout this whole KSI fight thing, ya know, the one with Slim and that Anthony Taylor fella. Don’t ask me too many details, I just watch what them young’uns show me on the telly.
So, this KSI kid, he’s a big deal, apparently. Folks keep talkin’ ’bout him, like he’s some kinda prize-winning rooster or somethin’. They say he’s a “global superstar,” whatever that means. Sounds fancy, I reckon. He’s fightin’ on that DAZN thing, gotta pay to watch, it seems. Kids these days and their fancy gadgets!
Now, this Slim fella, they call him “The Hitman.” Sounds kinda scary, don’t it? Like he’d come after your chickens if you ain’t lookin’. But he got beat by that AnEsonGib guy. See, KSI thought Slim would win, but he was wrong. Shows ya, even these big shot fighters can be wrong, just like me when I thought that old mule Bessy could still pull a plow last spring. She couldn’t, bless her heart.

And then there’s this Anthony Taylor. Don’t know much about him, but he’s fightin’ too, I guess. They’re all punchin’ and grapplin’, just like those fellas down at the county fair, only these guys get paid a whole lot more, I bet. They got belts and championships, just like those fancy cows at the state fair, only these belts are for punchin’, not milkin’.
They keep talkin’ ’bout KSI fightin’ Jake Paul, too. Another one of them young’uns with too much energy. But it ain’t happening yet, no date or nothin’. Maybe next year, maybe never. Who knows with these kids? They change their minds faster than a weather vane in a tornado.
Folks also mention Tommy Fury. He fought KSI already and won. Now they talkin’ ’bout a rematch. More punchin’, more yellin’, more money for them, I guess. It’s like those soap operas my granddaughter watches, always somethin’ goin’ on, always drama. These fellas, they come from all over too, Slim and Taylor, they used to do that MMA stuff, whatever that is. Now they boxin’. Seems like everyone wants to be a boxer these days.
This whole fight thing, it’s on August 31st, live from some place called 3Arena. Sounds big, like a barn but fancier, I imagine. You can watch it on DAZN, if you got the money. Me? I’ll just wait for the highlights. No need to pay when my neighbor’s kid can tell me all about it for free. He yells so loud when he watches, I can hear it through the walls anyway.
They had one of these fights in Qatar too, a “Super Card” they called it. Sounded like somethin’ outta them comic books the grandkids read. All these fighters, they got belts, they got fans, they got money. But at the end of the day, they just punchin’ each other. Reminds me of that time old Mr. Henderson and Mr. Peterson got into it over a fence line. Same thing, really, just with less people watchin’ and no fancy belts.
So, that’s the gist of it, as far as I can tell. KSI, Slim, Anthony Taylor, punchin’, fightin’, DAZN, money… It’s a whole lot of fuss, if you ask me. But hey, keeps them young’uns busy, I guess. And at least they ain’t out there causin’ trouble… much. They’re just punchin’ each other for money, nothin’ to worry my old bones about, I reckon.
Now, where’s that cup of tea? All this talkin’ makes a body thirsty. And don’t forget, August 31st, 3Arena, DAZN. KSI vs Slim and Anthony Taylor. There, I said it all. Now, if you’ll excuse me, I got some chickens to feed.
