Alright, let’s talk about settling in for Monday Night Raw. It’s become a bit of a routine, you know? Something to kinda switch the brain off after a long day.

So, first things first, gotta get comfortable. Usually means grabbing a drink, maybe some chips if I’m feeling it. Find my usual spot on the couch. The dog usually jumps up too, takes up half the space, but hey, he’s company.
Then it’s wrestling time. Turn on the TV, flip to the right channel. Sometimes gotta fiddle with the streaming app if the cable’s acting up, which happens more than I’d like, honestly. Annoying, but you get used to it.
The show kicks off. Usually starts with someone coming out to talk. A lot of talking sometimes. Too much talking, if you ask me. Gets things going, I suppose. Sets up the matches for the night. Saw that promo with the champ this week. Same sort of stuff, making promises, calling people out. It is what it is.
Watching the Action
Then the matches start. Some are pretty good! Watched a tag team match that had some energy. Guys were flying around. That’s the stuff I like to see. Keeps you awake, you know?
- Got into that one women’s match too. Pretty intense.
- Skipped through some of the backstage stuff. Sometimes it’s just filler.
- Commercial breaks are long. Find myself checking my phone a lot then.
There was this other match, can’t remember who exactly, felt kinda slow. Lots of headlocks. Nearly nodded off during that one. Happens sometimes. Three hours is a long time to sit watching anything, really.
It’s funny, I remember watching wrestling years ago, felt different. Maybe I’m just older. Or maybe the shows really have changed that much. Used to feel like anything could happen. Now? It feels a bit more predictable. Still, there are moments that get you hyped up.
Saw they’re pushing that new guy again. Still not sold on him. Looks like he needs more time. But they seem determined. We’ll see how that goes. Management always has their favorites, right?
Finished up my drink by the main event. The big match of the night. It was okay. Had some decent spots. Ending was kinda what I expected, no big surprise. The crowd seemed into it, so that’s good for them.

And then, just like that, it’s over. Show finishes, credits roll. Turn off the TV. Stretch a bit. Feels like the evening just vanished. Time to actually get ready for bed and face Tuesday. Another week rolling on. Yeah, that was my Monday night, pretty much.
