Alright, so today I’m gonna break down this whole “Monopoly GO Sphinx Scramble” thing. Figured I’d share my experience ’cause, you know, why not?

First off, I saw the event pop up, and I was like, “Okay, another one.” But then I noticed the dice roll rewards, and I thought, “Alright, let’s give this a shot.” I mean, who doesn’t want free dice, right?
So, basically, the deal is you gotta land on the four corner tiles: Go, Jail, Free Parking, and Go to Jail. Each time you land on one of these, you get points. Simple enough, right?
I started just playing like normal, trying to complete my sticker albums and build landmarks. But I quickly realized that wasn’t gonna cut it. I needed a strategy. So, I started paying attention to my dice multiplier. I usually roll with a lower multiplier when I’m close to a corner, then crank it up when I’m a few spaces away. Risk/reward, baby!
Here’s what I did step-by-step:
- Started Small: First few rounds, I used the x1 multiplier just to get a feel for the board and see where I was landing.
- Adjusted Bets: Once I got a sense of my average rolls, I’d bump it up to x5 or x10 when I was like, 6-8 spaces away from a corner.
- Max Multiplier: If I was feeling lucky (or desperate!), I’d go all in with the x20 or x50 when I was super close. Talk about a gamble!
- Used Free Parking Wisely: This one’s key. Save your free parking rolls for when you’re close to another corner. Free points are free points!
It took me a while, but I finally finished all 49 milestones. Phew! All that rolling really took it out of me! I managed to snag all those dice rolls, those stickers, plus a ton of cash and tokens. Worth it? I think so.
So, there you have it. My little adventure with the Sphinx Scramble. Hope it helps you out, or at least gives you something to do while you’re, you know, avoiding real life. Happy rolling!
