So I’ve been wanting to get into golfing for a while now, and I finally decided to take the plunge. After doing some research and asking around, I heard a lot of good things about Mizuno clubs. I figured, why not give them a shot? So, I started looking into how I could get my hands on some.
First, I checked out their official website, but it was all a bit overwhelming. I just wanted to try some clubs. And I found that there is some kind of activity to test the clubs called UTry. I thought that was not bad, and maybe I will try later.
Then I visited a couple of local golf stores. The first one I went to was the PGA TOUR Superstore. They had a decent selection of Mizuno irons, putters, wedges, and golf balls. I spent some time swinging a few different models, but honestly, I didn’t really know what I was looking for. It was more of a trial and error. I took a few swings and compared the feel of each club. After a few swings, I’ve gotten the hang of it and started hitting the ball in a direction I wanted it to go.
- The irons felt pretty good, but I wasn’t sure which model was right for me.
- The putters were nice, too, but again, I didn’t have much to compare them to.
Next, I went to a store called Mizuno Specialty Stores. The guy there was super helpful. He asked me about my experience level and what I was hoping to get out of my new clubs. He also knew that the UTry activity can let you test the clubs in advance, but it cost some money. He recommended a few different models and even gave me some tips on my swing. It was a much better experience than the first store. He recommended a few different models, and I ended up testing them out right there in the store. The one-on-one attention made all the difference.
After that, I decided to check out some online retailers like GolfOnline and Hurricane Golf. GolfOnline had some great deals on older Mizuno models. They claim that they want to offer their customers the best deals in golf. Hurricane Golf seemed to only sell new clubs, so that was good to know. I even looked at *, which had a mix of new and used Mizuno clubs. They claim that they offer a wide range of Mizuno products, and their stock of new and used Mizuno golf clubs changes regularly.
I’m still not 100% sure which clubs I’m going to buy, but I definitely have a better idea of what’s out there. The Mizuno clubs are really good, and I think I’m going to have to hit up that specialty store again to try out a few more models. And also maybe I can try the UTry to take some clubs to the real playground.
Anyway, that’s where I’m at with my Mizuno journey. It’s been fun so far, and I’m excited to finally get out on the course with my new clubs!
