So I was down this rabbit hole the other day, just kinda clicking around, you know how it goes. Anyway, I stumbled onto this whole thing about Andre the Giant. You remember him, right? The huge wrestler dude, also in The Princess Bride? Iconic.
Well, it turns out he had a daughter. Her name’s Robin Christensen-Roussimoff. Born in 1979, so she’s not a kid or anything. She popped up first when I was watching some old wrestling documentaries, I guess she was in some of them, just briefly. Then, I searched her name, and the journey began.
I started digging into her life. It’s kinda wild, being the daughter of such a famous guy, and a wrestler to boot. Apparently, she was born in France, but like, she didn’t spend much time with him growing up. From what I gathered, he was always on the road, wrestling and doing his thing.

- Read some articles about her.
- Checked out some photos of her with Andre.
She seems like a pretty normal person, all things considered. Obviously, she’s a big woman, she got that from her dad, obviously, but yeah, just a regular person.
She does some stuff to keep his memory alive, which is cool. I saw she goes to conventions and stuff, meeting fans. She is also dedicated to maintaining her father’s legacy. That’s gotta be a trip, having your dad be this massive, like, larger-than-life figure.
So yeah, that was my little adventure, learning about Robin Christensen-Roussimoff. It’s funny how you can start in one place on the internet and end up somewhere completely different. Now I know more about Andre the Giant’s daughter than I ever thought I would.
