Okay, so “Prince Devitt”… I’ve been seeing this name pop up everywhere, especially in wrestling circles. I’m a bit of an old-school wrestling fan, so I figured it was time to dive in and see what all the fuss was about. I started my journey, like most things these days, with a simple search.

Digging into the Past
I started by looking up “Prince Devitt” and immediately got a ton of results. Lots of wrestling websites, videos, the works. I quickly realized this guy was a big deal, especially over in Japan. He had this cool, almost rockstar vibe.
First, I watched some of his older matches in New Japan Pro-Wrestling (NJPW). The guy was ridiculously athletic. Seriously, the moves he pulled off were insane! He was doing things I hadn’t seen before, really high-flying and fast-paced.
Bullet Club Formation
Then, I stumbled upon this whole “Bullet Club” thing. Turns out, Devitt was the original leader! This group was like the bad guys of NJPW, causing all sorts of chaos. It was a pretty cool concept, and Devitt played the arrogant, cocky leader perfectly.
- I spent a good chunk of time just watching Bullet Club entrance videos. The music, the attitude…it was all very captivating.
- I read a few articles about the impact of the Bullet Club on the wrestling world. It was apparently a huge deal, influencing a lot of other promotions.
The Transition
After that, I found out that Prince Devitt eventually left NJPW and joined another wrestling promotion. He changed his name, but I kept seeing references to his past as Devitt. It was like this legendary status he carried with him.
So, I spent my evening basically going down a Prince Devitt rabbit hole. It was a fun trip, discovering this whole other side of wrestling that I hadn’t really explored before. I get the hype now. The guy was a game-changer, and his influence is still felt today.
