Okay, so I finally decided to tackle the “Sol-3 Phase” thing in Wuthering Waves. Honestly, I’d been putting it off because I heard it was a real pain. But, you know, gotta get those rewards!

First, I checked out a few guides online. Just to get a general idea of the boss’s moves and what kind of team I should bring. Most people seemed to recommend having a good healer and a strong DPS, so I went with what I had leveled.
Then, I jumped into the fight. The first couple of tries were…rough. I’m not gonna lie. This boss hits hard, and those AOE attacks? Forget about it. I got completely wiped out a few times, just trying to figure out the timing of everything.
I realized pretty quickly that my usual strategy of just mashing buttons wasn’t going to cut it. I had to actually, you know, dodge and pay attention to the boss’s tells. Which, let me tell you, is easier said than done when you’ve got a giant robot thing trying to stomp you into the ground.
- First try: Total disaster. Died in like, a minute.
- Second try: Slightly better, but still died. Figured out the timing of one of the attacks.
- Third try: Got the boss down to about half health! Progress!
- Fourth try…Kept at it.
After several, let say many fails, I started to get the hang of it. I switched up my team a little bit, swapping out one character for another with a better elemental match-up. That seemed to help a lot. I also focused on using my support character’s abilities to keep my main DPS alive.
Finally, after what felt like forever, I managed to beat it! It was a close call, though. My healer was down, and my main DPS was one hit away from death. But I pulled it off! The feeling of finally seeing that “Victory” screen was amazing.
My main takeaways
Don’t be afraid to experiment with your team composition. Find characters that has good match-up, and really, Really, REALLY learn those boss patterns! And most importantly, don’t give up! Keep practicing, and you’ll eventually get it. Good luck, you’ll need it!
