Alright, let’s talk about this WWE stuff, you know, the wrestling thing on TV. Heard they’re letting some folks go, “cuts,” they call it. Don’t really get all the fancy business talk, but sounds like they’re shakin’ things up.
So, what’s the deal with these WWE cuts? Well, from what I gather, they’re makin’ a bunch of money, business is “boomin’,” like they say. But still, they’re givin’ some wrestlers the boot. Makes ya wonder, don’t it? You’d think if things are goin’ so good, they’d keep everyone around.
- Maybe they got too many folks. Like a hen house, too many chickens, not enough feed.
- Or maybe some of them just ain’t pullin’ their weight. You know, like that old rooster that just struts around and don’t lay no eggs.
Heard some rumors flyin’ around back in April, somethin’ about the UFC folks gettin’ involved. Endeavor, that’s the name. Guess they’re mixin’ the wrestling with the fightin’, like stirrin’ up a pot of stew with all sorts of stuff in it. Don’t know if that’s good or bad, just seems like a whole lotta changin’ goin’ on.
Folks are gossiping, sayin’ more cuts are comin’. Heard tell some of the women wrestlers might be on the choppin’ block. Names like Charlotte Flair and Alexa Bliss, they say. Now, I don’t watch it all the time, but those gals seem tough enough. Guess it don’t matter how tough you are, if they don’t need ya, they don’t need ya.
This Endeavor deal, they’re makin’ some new company, TKO they call it. Sounds like a knockout punch, don’t it? Maybe that’s what they’re doin’ to some of these wrestlers’ careers. Just bam, you’re out. Kinda harsh, if you ask me. But then again, I ain’t runnin’ no wrestling show.
It’s all just a show, you know. They pretend to fight, but it ain’t real. Still, they gotta be tough to do all that jumpin’ and flippin’ around. And even though it’s pretend, they can still get hurt. Heard some folks even gettin’ themselves killed doin’ that stuff. So, it ain’t all fun and games, I reckon.
Folks on the internet, they’re all talkin’ about it. Who’s gonna get “future endeavored,” they say. Fancy way of sayin’ “fired,” I guess. Seems like nobody knows for sure, but everybody’s got an opinion. Reminds me of a bunch of hens cluckin’ in the yard, all makin’ noise but nobody really knowin’ nothin’.
They did some firin’ on a Friday night. Sneaky, ain’t it? Like rippin’ off a band-aid quick, hopin’ it won’t hurt so bad. But it still hurts, I bet. These folks gotta make a livin’, just like the rest of us. Gotta put food on the table, pay the bills. And now they gotta go find somethin’ else to do.
This whole wrestling thing, it’s a strange business. Lots of muscles and sweat and showin’ off. And now, lots of worryin’ and wonderin’ who’s gonna be next to get the axe. Guess that’s just how it goes, though. Things change, folks come and go. Just gotta roll with the punches, as they say. Or maybe, in this case, roll with the body slams.
So, that’s the story as I see it. WWE makin’ changes, lettin’ folks go, stirrin’ things up with this Endeavor deal. Lots of talk, lots of rumors, lots of worryin’. Don’t know what’s gonna happen next, but I reckon it’ll be somethin’. This wrestling world, it’s always full of surprises.
One last thing, though. Seems a shame to see folks lose their jobs. Hope they land on their feet and find somethin’ good. Everybody deserves a chance to make a livin’, even if they ain’t grapplin’ around in tights no more.
