Okay, so I decided to go to the WWE Friday Night SmackDown in Greenville, South Carolina, on October 11, 2024. I’ve always wanted to see a WWE event live, and this felt like the perfect chance. I started by looking up the event details online. The fact that it was in Greenville made it even better – not too far of a drive for me.
I got myself prepared for buying tickets. I heard that tickets for these events can go pretty fast, especially if you’re aiming for good seats. I remember my friend telling me about how he and his buddy spent like $500 each just to get the front row in the elevated section a couple of years ago. I was thinking, maybe I don’t need to be that close, but I still want a decent view.
I found out that the average price for WWE tickets is around $64, but they can start as low as $35. That’s not too bad, but then I read that you might have to compromise on the view if you go for the cheaper ones. Lower bowl seats to the sides or behind the commentary area are better than ringside because you get a clear view of everything, and no one’s blocking your sight. That’s something to keep in mind.
Another cool thing I discovered is that WWE offers free tickets to U.S. military personnel. That’s awesome! Shows they really appreciate the troops. I’m not in the military, but it’s good to know.
I also read that if you’re going with a group, you might have to be okay with sitting apart at times. Apparently, that’s why they don’t let anyone under 18 be a seat filler. You gotta be ready to be separated from your friends or parents if needed. So, I prepared myself mentally for that possibility.
Finally, the day came, and I bought my ticket online. I opted for a lower bowl seat on the side. It was a bit more expensive than the cheapest ones, but I figured it was worth it for a better experience. And let me tell you, it was an incredible night! The energy in the arena was electric. I got to see some of my favorite wrestlers in action, and the whole atmosphere was just insane. It was totally worth it, and I would do it again in a heartbeat.
