Okay, so the other day I was trying to mess around with this “xqc monkey app” thing I heard about. It all started when I saw xQc streaming, and he was doing something with this monkey on his screen. I was like, “What the heck is that?” So, naturally, I had to figure it out.

Digging Around
First, I jumped onto Google. Just typed in “xqc monkey app” and scrolled through a bunch of stuff. Forums, Reddit threads, some random articles – you name it. It took a bit of digging to piece together what was actually going on.
Finding the Pieces
Turns out, it’s not really an “app” in the normal sense. It’s more like a combination of things. From what I gathered, there’s this animated monkey, and people are using it with streaming software like OBS. I also found out that xQc uses it sometime in his streaming.
Setting It Up (My Struggle)
- First, I tried to find a download for the monkey animation. That was a pain. Some links looked sketchy, so I was careful.
- Then, I already had OBS installed, so I opened that up.
- I added a new “Media Source” in OBS, and that’s where I loaded the monkey animation file I finally found.
- The tricky part was getting it to look right. I fiddled with the size and position on the screen for a while. I messed with transparency settings and stuff. It was a lot of trial and error, I tell you!
Finally done
So, yeah, that’s pretty much my adventure with the xqc monkey app * is not a simple app, but I made it.
